RESILIENT RESPONDER PROGRAM
Where Emergency Responders Decompress + Increase Resilience
Critical incidents take a toll
Working for any responder agency carries unique stressors. Chronic exposure to emergency events affects the emotional health of dispatch, law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, healthcare providers, military veterans, and volunteers. Responders need care, guidance and a place to unload their burdens. To decompress.
Growing up the daughter of a military veteran inspired me to become a trauma therapist and later specialize in emergency response. I’ve worked in the field for 21 years; 14 dedicated to trauma therapy.
IT TAKES STRENGTH TO ASK FOR HELP
For emergency responders, I offer wellness services, training, and greater peace of mind. The nature of emergency response work can create heavy burdens. If left unresolved, the hidden load of past burdens may impact our lives and relationships with family, friends, and coworkers. You handle a lot–-you may not even realize how much–-but you don’t have to hold everything yourself.
I’m here for whatever you need to share–-hard memories, deep fears, dark humor, sleepless nights, fatigue, guilt. Like you, I'm not afraid to show up and help, no matter how sad, gruesome, or extreme the experience.
IT’S OKAY TO CALL FOR BACKUP
You run toward the crisis. You’ve earned the right to reflect and be supported after any event. When you’re feeling isolated, burnt out, or just want someone to help you work through a rough patch, this is the moment to engage. Even the toughest, fastest-moving performers need safe spaces to debrief, share impact, and experience peace.
